I’m AJ, the owner and scooper behind Doody Dashers. I’ve worked in the pet industry for more than 18 years, with experience in grooming salons, dog boarding facilities, pet stores, and other areas of animal care. I’ve always enjoyed working with animals and getting to know their different personalities—especially the dogs and cats I meet along the way. I started Doody Dashers because I wanted to combine my love of animals with helping people keep their yards clean, healthy, and enjoyable for both their families and their pets. Owning my own business has also been a dream of mine since I was 16, when I first dreamed about opening my own pet store. At home, I have three dogs of my own, ranging from 5 to 16 years old, so animals are a pretty big part of my life even when I’m not working. My other big passion is the aquarium hobby. At one point, I had 32 aquariums running at the same time and kept all kinds of freshwater fish and other aquatic species. For me, Doody Dashers is more than just cleaning yards. I’m glad you’re considering us to take care of your yard. When you trust someone to come onto your property every week, I believe you should know exactly what to expect. That’s why I built Doody Dashers around three things: reliable service, great communication, and treating your property like it’s our own. When we say your satisfaction is guaranteed, we mean it. We stand behind our work and want you to be happy with your yard after every visit. You’ll receive a notification when we’re on our way. We arrive in Doody Dashers uniforms with professional equipment that is sanitized between every property to help prevent anything from being carried from one yard to another. When we scoop your yard, we scoop it like it’s our own. We’ll also be a second set of eyes while we’re there. If we notice something unusual or concerning with your dog’s waste, we’ll let you know. Before leaving, we always make sure your gate is closed, latched, and secure. Consistency is important too. If Wednesday is your service day, you can expect us on Wednesdays. If weather, holidays, or another situation requires us to change your schedule, we’ll communicate that with you by text and email.
